Is the census for students?
Whether you are French or from abroad, a permanent resident or just here for your studies, once you have been in France for at least one year the census concerns you.
The census takes place in the town where you live for your studies. If you go back to your parents (in France) for week-ends, they can tell it when their census happens.

If you live on a university campus you cannot respond online. You must fill out the paper questionnaires given to you by the INSEE enumerator.
